In an exciting new venture, FCS Compliance has partnered with Eunomart SA, a full service and well established international anti-money (AML) platform designed specifically for art market participants (AMPs). This partnership expands on our existing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) service to give you access to Eunomart’s CDD system which is cost effective and makes queries faster and easier.
Not only is Eunomart user-friendly, but importantly, it offers direct access to a real person via a 24-hour chatbox. Eunomart specialists are on hand to help with technical support while complex AML enquiries are directed to FCS Compliance, art division specialists.
An added benefit to FCS Compliance clients using the Eunomart platform and carrying out art transactions in France, Switzerland and Belgium, is that for a preferential fee, they have access to Eunomart’s AML art specialists in these countries.
CEO and founder of Eunomart, Violette Taquet, explains
“Eunomart was established five years ago. While working in fine art I became aware of the challenges faced by art galleries in complying with AML legislation. Eunomart addresses these challenges with a platform designed specifically for AMPs. It blends the efficiency and speed of technology, with the expertise and know-how of live specialists.
Essentially, we want to fully support the art market in its compliance with the EU’s 5th Money Laundering Directive, which is part of the reason we chose to name our company after Eunomia, the Greek goddess of law, good order and lawful conduct.”
Rena Neville, head of FCS Compliance, Art Division added:
“Partnering with Eunomart provides FCS Compliance clients with the ability to conduct their own due diligence via a competitively priced and UK compliant technology solution. Eunomart is a leading supplier with a proven track-record across Europe.”
She added:
“I am delighted to be working with Violette and the Eunomart team who share our commitment and values to finding the best human and technology support for the art market in a challenging and rapidly evolving regulatory environment.”
James Golfar, Managing Director, FCS Compliance added:
“We are excited to be working with Eunomart. The partnership provides our clients with pan-European AML support and coverage which is essential for art markets with their global reach. In short, the combination of live consultants and technology provides a full service to all AMPs.”
